The benefits of a Rigid Core

Engineered for long-lasting performance

At the heart of every Wood Rock 55 plank is a Rigid Core: a high-density core made primarily from limestone powder and polymers.

This advanced technology provides greater rigidity than traditional vinyl flooring while delivering outstanding long-term dimensional stability. The planks are better equipped to withstand everyday wear and offer a reassuringly solid feel underfoot.

The Rigid Core also helps minimise natural floor movement caused by temperature changes, making installation easier, especially in renovation projects.

Why does a Rigid Core make the difference?

  • Outstanding dimensional stability
  • Excellent impact resistance
  • Easy installation over many compatible subfloors
  • Ideal for renovation projects
  • Enhanced walking comfort
  • Compatible with underfloor heating systems
