Cookie policy

1. Object

The Peintagone website uses cookies to manage and improve the functionality of the website and the users' browsing.

This is to inform users of the cookies that Peintagone uses on its website. Regarding the personal data that may be collected and processed by Peintagone, we invite you to consult our privacy policy.

2. What are cookies and what are their purposes?

Cookies are small text files that can be used by websites to make the user experience more efficient and are stored on the browser or hard drive of the user's device.

In general, cookies make it possible to remember the choices and preferences of the user on the website, to personalise the content and advertising, to offer additional functionalities related to social media, to analyse the traffic on the website or to improve the browsing experience of said website.

Cookies are generally classified into different categories according to the people who use them and who place them on the website, according to the need or not to use these cookies for the website to work, but also according to their duration and functionality.

2.1. Internal cookies / third-party cookies

Internal cookies are cookies placed on the user's device by the website itself. Whereas third-party cookies are cookies placed by partners of the website.

2.2. Temporary cookies / permanent cookies

Cookies are temporary when they are disabled after the closure of the website on the browser used by the user.

Conversely, cookies are permanent when they remain active on the user's device, even after closing the browser.

However, even when cookies are said to be permanent, they all have a limited duration that varies depending on the cookie used.

2.3. Essential cookies / non-essential cookies

Essential cookies, as their name suggests, are essential for technical reasons to use the website. In this respect, only an obligation of prior information applies, and they are deposited on the user's device as soon as the latter accesses the website.

Non-essential cookies are cookies that are not strictly necessary for the operation of the website, but they allow Peintagone to offer an improved and personalised use of the website. For this type of cookies, the prior consent of the user is requested.

2.4. Functional / analytical / targeting cookies

Functional cookies allow the website to provide the user with more functionalities and in this way to improve and customise the navigation on the website (choice of language for example, configuration of cookies, …).

Analytical (or performance) cookies are used to count the number of visits and to analyse website traffic. They can also identify the most visited pages and error messages. These cookies make it possible to improve the functioning of the website.

Targeting cookies record the user's visit to the Site, the pages visited, and the links followed. This information makes it possible to better adapt the content of the Site and the advertisements published on it to the interests of the user. Targeting cookies may be linked to other websites, such as social networks.
